Default Flywheel cracking?

Wondering if these are cracks forming?

And how do I manually turn the engine to rotate the flywheel and inspect other sides?

Cracks, idk.....

But you can use a prybar or big screwdriver on the teeth. They also make a flywheel turner... it's like a huge pliers.

Or you can disengage the fuel pump and bump it with the starter.

I use the socket and breaker bar on the front pulley, removing the spark plugs makes turning it easier.

Yep, crank pulley...but I don't see any cracks in the flywheel.

Don't see any cracks, either.

Looks like a little dust/rust residue from where the bolts are on crank/flex-plate...but see no cracks.

Brian.

Little rust it looks like yeah, I’m just nervous that maybe the cracks are underneath that ring that sits in the middle there. kinda like this one:

Which is the crank pulley, hah? And does tranny need to be in neutral? I’ll see if there’s anything on the other side

Auto trans flywheels tend not crack, ususlly only manuals from clutch wear and abuse.
If your torque plate/flex plate was damaged like the one pictured, you would definately hear it, especially when on/off the throttle or when it shifts.
Leave the transmission in park when breaking the crank pulley loose.
