I was repairing the rear sunroof due to water leaking yesterday and after I finished the fob no longer works. Luckily I had not put all the interior trim back yet so I lowered the headliner again to examine the receiver. It was plugged in. I had not unplugged it when working on the rear sunroof. I checked the battery and it is good. The read lights come on and the multimeter says 3. The receiver has been strong. I have not had to be significantly close to it for the locks to work.

The physical key works fine and locks and unlocks all the doors with the second turn.

I did not unplug the battery while working on the sunroof. No connections were disconnected. Only the bulbs removed from the middle and rear interior lights.

This is a 2001 D2 North American.

Any ideas?
