Default Fog Light harness plug wiring

Purchased new bumper with fog lights from Atlantic British. The new fogs have a harness plug that won't plug directly into the existing plug on the D2. I was planning on splicing the old plug onto the new lights. However the wiring on the new lights is white and black and the OEM wiring is blue and brown. On the OEM plug which wire is the ground and which is the power?
Thanks!

As I don't know off the top of my head either Rave should have that information or a quick test with a multimeter would tell you..

On the *vehicle side* harness plug, the ground wire is black and the power wire is blue w/ purple stripe.

This is for a 2000, should be same 99-02

This is for a 2003, should be same 03-04

Your pic is of the pigtail that comes off the fog lamp, yes? Just figure out which one plugs into which color of the above 2.

On the actual fog lamp, you should be able to plug it in either way. Doesn't matter on a standard incandescent light bulb w/ 2 connections doesn't care if you hook them up backwards... )but if the new lamps are LED's I think they actually care about polarity. Are these LEDs?

If testing with a multimeter, remember the front fogs will be powered only when the ignition switch is at Position II and the city lights or headlights are also switched on.

If you are running incandescent fog lights the polarity doesn’t matter, but it’s probably good to know if you want to fit LED lights.

I used these to wire in aftermarket lights to the factory fog light harness 6 months ago and no issues so far.
