I don't think anything can (legally) change a vehicle's VIN. That would defeat the point of them.
SLABS = Self-Levelling and Antilock Brake System module.
No you can’t change the VIN on the ECU with the NT510,520 or 530. The Foxwell NT line of diagnostic testers can’t code ECUs or the BCU like a testbook or a Nanocom.
Thanks Guys Dang i could swear i read on this forum that the NT520 device could do it...i assumed the upgrades NT530 could also... However I could not find this info on the Foxwell website. I figured it's just not an advertised Feature... So What if you have a new ECU and needs to be programmed then what? It would make sense the device could "flash" the computer no? Oh and thank for the Slabs Definition. My D2 doesn't have air suspension so i dont think i have this...
If you can tell i'm new to LRD2s
im having same issue...going to go back and look at my NT530 today and enter my VIN.. I couldnt find any pdf or information on how to use the device so its just guesswork from using previous readers... i coudl not get into ABS , it said no communication with the ABS module after it looked for it.. maybe i have to actually enter my vin info in the device which I haven't done yet.. also i never know which key position anything needs to be in or if started so I just leave it in 2 position and if its something like O2 sensor check or something ill turn on engine but still no access to SLABS
You shouldn't have to input your VIN.
Once you plug in the Foxwell (this is on my NT510), turn the ignition key the II position then follow these steps to get to #3 ABS in the 6th screen below...

dang the NT510 has a sweeter sc reen! tis updated 530 is blinding white with blue very monitone and hard on eyes.. maybe there is a DARK mode anyway yeah I can do that too and I get right to the clickety on ABS and here is what I get...
i used my RSW Solutions abs amigos tester and it shows this... i have replaced shuttle vlave with new one, wheel bearing on front and abs sensor and all new rotors and pads recently also but this was already here and im pretty sure the valve is good... however.. the 022: ECU Grd failure... coudl that be the wabco ECU failing? or a bad ground and this causing the foxwell not to be able to communicate with it? or is this code only meant to go along with a shuttle valve issue? I really want to bleed my abs system and brakes properly and why I bought the foxwell... anyway thats where I am...

i just replaced my SLABS.. my 03 had the 000070 unit and I purchased a 000150 i must have gotten one of the last of the not so great SLABS , anyway replaced that on with the updated one but still sees no communication with my NT530 .. as if its empty of information... but still my RWS solutions Amigos cecked and cleared all the codes and reset the 3 amigos... still dont know how in depth that happens but im starting to think the NT530 isnt up for the job .. did I read i can program the VIN into the SLABS? i haven't been able to get the NT530 to read any vin and it says my vin is invalid ... so not sure whats going on...
