My 520 works fine, actually had to use it today to test the ABS pump, exactly the same process as @JUKE179r

I always wondered if the NT-530 model was only geared towards newer vehicles though the Disco 2 is on there.

I’ve seen corrosion inside the SLABS unit on the circuit board and on the connector pins. You can easily open up the SLABS unit by removing 2 allen/hex head screws and look for corrosion or a broken/burnt trace or components.

Just wanted to update this thread as I went through the same thing with my NT530. I was about to return it and just order an NT510 or NT520.

I sent a message to Foxwell and they actually updated the Land Rover software and provided me with a new working .bin file to replace the old one on the SD card for the scanner. The original file to replace is located in Vehicles > Europe > LandRover or something like that. BTW, Foxwell has like 6 different ways to contact them, the one that worked for me was sales@foxwelltool.com.

It still won't automatically read the VIN (not a big deal), but the "VIN error" buttons are now fixed and the ABS bleeding should work now.

I've attached the file for anyone who needs it. Hope this helps!

same here.. I ended up returning it and getting the NANOCOM 4. then got notice of update lol oh well I'm still super happy with NANOCOM. I did email them but they never responded for weeks so that's why I returned but then BAM UPDATE! I don't fault them or put any negative on the product just timing was off and in these times that's not unexpected.. if it had worked Id kept it at the time and I even considered holding on to it as it really did some nice things just I needed the break bleeding to work and it to read SLABS properly... I'm assuming now it does
