Default Free additional power.....

...... simple, free, effective.

Adjust the ridiculous amount of slack out of the throttle cable.

My 4.6L D2 was rather breathless and seemed to struggle to get up the sand dunes here. So, after thinking about camshafts, coil packs etc. I thought "go back to basics" and check the simple stuff. And there it was, a load of slack in the the badly adjusted throttle cable which I removed and now the vehicle feels a whole lot more lively.

Never overlook the basics

Haha, I feel you. I did cam, bleed down lifters, full intake, full exhaust, ported and polished heads and intake. It all impoved it wonderfully, but I never even thought to tighten the throttle cable. It helped a ton when I finally did.

I think the last thing on my list other than headers (which will be a while coming) is 8mm plug wires and new coils which should be in the mail in a couple days.

Going to try this.

My cruise is pretty limp in it's take up as well....I loose about 5mph between setting it and it taking over, then I have to click the + to get back up where I initially wanted it.
