First start up of the day, what temp do you wait for before you pull out of the driveway?? I wait several minutes as I think you should with any vehicle but I’ve never really looked at the temp. What is your opinion?

 

On modern rigs with OBD2, I don't really wait around. I prefer to drive them and keep the revs down to warm them up. With my classic cars, I tend to give them some time to wake up if carbed or just a few seconds after the revs drop if they're MFI/EFI. Then I'll drive them gently until the oil temps are above 160F before I start opening them up.

 

LR manual says best way to warm up is to drive.
