Front axel seal replacement question

now i haven't done mine yet but I believe that seal is part of the hub, I believe the axle seal is in the tube. but ive been wrong before

The complete hub assembly comes off, then the CV axle shaft comes off before ever you can access the axle shaft seal which is located within the steering knuckle. The axle shaft seal that Im talking about is not part of the hub assembly.
