Default Front Brake Noise

My 04 D2 seems to have some brake squeal from the front brakes. I changed the rotors and pads 15k miles ago. Do they need to be changed again? I usually get about 30k miles out of new pads alone so I am very surprised that they are making noise this soon. Should I re-lube the ears of the pads with copper grease?
Thanks.

Could try a relube of the pads.

Also look at the caliper pins. Last squeal I had needed new pins and little rubber boots. Not a bad job to do at all, and the kit is cheap from Lucky8. Comes with lube, pins and boots.

Actually, after doing the job I reckoned that just greasing the existing pins would have worked, but swapping the parts was as easy as they have to come off anyway.

It was the caliper pins. I put some copper grease on them and the squeak was gone. Thanks.
