Default front bumper mods

hey all,

2000 Discovery- 88,000 miles -my question: has anyone ever modified the front bumper in order to gain more clearance and if so, did they come across anything funky during the process that would be worth mentioning.

thanks.

Some people have trimmed off the lower part of the bumper, seems to work wrll and easy to do.

Thanks for the recommend. I have factory lamps installed - so can you just cut away up to that mount/section? man that would be pretty easy to do probably with some tin snips, it looks like its just black plastic. BTW - I cracked up the left side under the fog lamp going coming up thru a gulley. I had to tie it up because it was rubbing against the tire on the expressway but the fog lamps still work. I'll try and get under there this weekend and check it out.

If you are going to be playing off the road much, start saving up for a good metal aftermarket bumper because you will continue to keep hitting the factory bumper.
