Yep very clean, great off road clearance, and I can reach the Warn M8000 handle with no problem once I rotated it forwards and re-secured it. I was going to mount the winch control box under the hood, but liked the location I settled on. Off road the winch fairlead will take the hit before the control box.

I couldn't stand how the AB video with them chopping a massive hole in the grill looked! Several D2 bumpers are like that and I just think it looks half *** IMHO vs clean and factory looking.

I love ARB's, Terrafirma, RTE, and Tactical Rover bumpers.

My .02 This is the front bumper I am going to go with once I find one at the right price. To me...I like the way it fits and doesn't stick out too far. While it might be minor...the turning radius sucks on these vehicles and adding any additional length will make it that more difficult to navigate through turns and trees.

I can turn my LR's better than a JKU anyday!! They turn like the Titanic.

I really liked the skid plate for the washer bottle. It's a small detail until your driving down the road and a monster syfi bug (or that giant mosquito from "The Mist") smashes into your window and then you realize oh no I'm either out of washer fluid or that off-road trip just killed my washer bottle!! Then you're stuck driving blind! Or looking thru crap until you can pull over.

The Terrafirma front skid also goes with it perfectly adding to the on/off road protection.

I had to use a sawzall and remove the lower plates on the Terrafirma bumper in order for it mount up properly, but I think it was a small price to pay for such a low profile setup. It only took me 5min to cut em off, then I was able to line it up dang near perfect. If you do run the Terrafirma bumper on a 99-02 I do highly recommend using an 03-04 D2 grill as it's an inch taller and requires no major cutting besides two notches for the Warn M8000 to fit perfectly.

That answered my question. I was gonna ask about using the 03/04 grille and what you had to do to get it to fit properly.

Yeah only real requirements with the Terrafirma are listed below.

1. Cut off lower plates on the bumper (so the bumper can be adjusted up/down)
2. Cut Support that runs across directly behind the grill (for winch clearance)
3. Paint the remaining bit of the Support black (so you can't see it)
4. Install the 03-04 Grill so you don't have to cut off 1.25inch of your 99-02 (in my case I would have been butchering a Kalahari Saudi Grill....)
5. If you install a Warn M8000 all that is needed are two 1/4inch tall x 1inch wide or so notches for the body of the winch to fit perfectly without pushing up on the grill.
6. You also have to trim down your headlight finishers in order for the 03-04 grill to work, but I was able to just use a hacksaw/cut off wheel. I was going to make a simple support using a mount left over from the 02 grill to support them, but the Terrafirma Bumper and the 03-04 Grill make them very secure.

I've always liked the 03-04 grill better, but I never was a fan of the plastic headlights and fogging up with moisture or the constant fading due to UV. I think the facelift and bumper combo look great and I plan on doing the same exact setup to my 99 when Tax Time rolls around lol.

there are turning bump stops that you can replace or grind down that control the turning radius. I do it all the time.

Yep I've heard about the different stops used. Just never have checked mine. On all my Jeep's that had the same kind of setup I just replaced the stops with Grade 8 bolts and used washers or collars as spacers to get the turning radius perfect with zero rubbing, but the max turning circle.
