Default Front Cover Salvageable?!?!

Went to remove my front seal and it was majorly stuck. I ended up tearing a hole in the cover wear the seal seats. Is this salvageable?

I would say yes if it's not deep. Clean it up real well and degrease the area. Get some permatex gray right stuff in the cheese wiz can and smear some just in that spot to fill in the scratch and then put your seal in. Should work just fine.

At $500+ for a new one, I would give it a shot! You could also try JB weld with something like a playing card clamped on the inside of the circle to help form it round for a stronger repair if you are not sure about RS.

$30 at your local upullit.

No difference than a new one after its clean. If you want I'll look for one.

I have one with new pump gears. You can have it, if you will pay shipping.
