Looks like the vibration is coming before the shaft. Dont you think so. You can probably remove the shaft and try if the noise is still present.

I would remove the shaft and then see if the shaft coming out of the diff has any play or the u-joint has any. If it is in the diff then it may have to come off to replace the shaft and or bearings.
Hopefully it is the drive shaft.

Just fixed a vibration issue. After taking my drive shafts off and checking everything it ended up being the engine mounts. both cracked and sagging. Vibration is now fixed.

Having an auto hobby shop available is a big plus when it comes to fixing my rover.

I fixed the problem. It wasn't the drive shaft but the output flange from the t-case the the drive shaft bolts into. I just removed the drive shaft and tightened the 30mm bolt and that was it.

Daedrix, I was going to say that the front LT230 flange was wobbling around causing the shaft to oscillate. Hopefully your woes are solved but do check the front transfer box bearing and also fit a new self locking nut to the flange, you don't need that to come undone

You might also want to check the front transfer box oil seal as it may have damaged that as well.
