everyone should read my post on the topic of FRONT DRIVE SHAFT LONGGEVITY. dated 11/22/07 as mine broke last week. art

yea, where the u-joint is pressed into the front prop shaft. there is the claw i call it and it bent that so it was not usable again. it was the end with the spline and pin so you can take it apart if that helps. art

If you want to save some money, there are some used one out there for sale, many with new u-joints.

yea, i paid 50.00 at a junk yard and it was in great shape. going to get me a spare though.thats what these forums are all about guys, sharing info so nobody gets stuck up the creek. i carry a brake light switch also.keep the information highway flowing. thanks to mike and all the experienced rover owners who help everyone out in these forums. art
