No play doesn't mean the driveshaft is OK, the U-joints can be worn down. After I had mine out, some of the U-joins were hard to move by hand. There was noticeable resistance and no play at all.

I got a HD front shaft from BPUtah. Everything was fine since then, no vibration. Except that I needed a new TC, because the worn U-joints killed it.

I bought a Tom Woods from Lucky 8 and with my 2.5" lift I have no vibration.

Check your tires

also driveshafts sometimes come out of balance.
My first Tom woods shaft had a terrible vibration
replaced it with another Tom woods no issues

hit and miss
