Ok maybe it doesn't even pay to rebuild mine. Is this the correct one for a 1999 Disco II? I see 3 on Lucky's site all priced differently.

I believe this is the one I need:

Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled...

Other two I see, does anyone know what the difference is on these two and if i need it?:

Still haven't heard from Lucky as to what the differences are with these things. No one knows?

The first one is a rebuilt stock unit. Will look like new.
The second one is a Tom Woods Double Cardan unit. He says you don't need this one unless you have a lifted truck.
The third one is a Tom Woods Single Cardan.

The Tom woods units have 1310 u-joints so they are easier to find replacements.

The stock units have metric u-joints.

Well considering I went 125k miles on my stocker without failure, another stocker will probably last the rest of the life on my rover no? I don't plan on any off roading so do I really need anything else but a stock replacement?

I could source some aftermarket UJs off of 'flea bay' or RockAuto.com cheaper, but I ordered the OE supplier parts from the UK, so...

Freakin' shipping was more than the parts!!!

IMO the best front shaft refurb kit money can buy. It'll take more than 4 hours first time around to rebuild IMO.

Propshaft rebuilds are no great task - they just require a careful, methodical approach. I'll be doing mine as a precautionary measure sometime.
