Default Front End Rebuild

I developed a squeak in the steering of my 01 Disco 2. While inspecting the steering components, I realized that everything is either factory, or in otherwise need of replacement. None of the joints are serviceable and the rubber pieces are cracked and falling apart. I'm wanting to spend a weekend rebuilding the steering components, including tie rod ends, ball joints, etc. My problem is that I don't know what all should fall under the "ectcetera" category. I would love to do it all in one project, replacing everything with serviceable components if possible. If there has been a previous write up on this, I can't find it. Ideas?

LRTV on YouTube has a lot of good videos on everything Land Rover, this is the swivel housing for a D2.

Tie rods can be found that are greasable but never seen the swivel housings as greasable.

Use genuine LR bushings in the panhard rod and radius arms and you'll be golden for a decade of trouble free motoring.

I did most of mine as well when I got mine. HD drag link, steering rod, and steering dampner is a good start! If you are thinking about ball joints, I suggest taking it to a mechanic unless you want to spend a massive amount of time and muscle doing it. They are notorious for being a real pain in the butt without the right tools and lift! And if you mess with the steering stuff, get it aligned when u are done! Better to be safe then sorry!
