None really, but if your taking everything off the front axle to do the ball joints, might as well freshen everything up. At low speeds I do get a rotational-whirring sound that is directly connected to my speed. My front drive shaft is new, so it might be the hubs, or possibly the CV joints. The truck has 150K miles on it and I don't know if the hubs are original, so I'd rather create a good base-line to work from with new parts.

Since I have a 2" lift and larger-than-stock tires, I might go with the more expensive hubs.

I just got a closeout front hub from Rock Auto. I had installed an eBay one, and used the old sensor that was too long, and I believe it has damaged the hub. I installed the sensor that came with the hub when the amigos came back with the sensor fault. It was the type of sensor that is spliced in the cabin, hence trying to use it with the eBay hub.

I am installing the Rock Auto hub tomorrow morning. The eBay hub I put on the driver's front side has been perfect. I just did not know the sensor was different. On the driver's side that is malfunctioning.
