Default Front wheels frozen up.

The old Disco has been sitting now for almost 6 months, and I just have not had time to mess with it. I wanted to move it to the garage today as I want to play around with it, and it is in the way of some excavation starting here. I go to tow it with the other Disco tonight up the driveway so I could roll it in with a bit of speed, and I'm dragging the front wheels. The rears are rolling but the fronts are locked. In neutral, brakes off, etc. I'm assuming the brakes are rusted to the rotors. They were brand new Abekbono pads.
Any ideas? I really need to get it moved to the garage. I dragged it slowely in both directions but nothing. Hit it with some PB blaster too. The driveway was wet, so that might have played in. Still though, I'm wondering if it is something else I'm not thinking of, or if rotors something I could do to free it up easily.

Pop the wheels off and hut the rotor hat with a hammer a few times to loosen the rust. Take a screwdriver, prybar, something long and thin, stick it in the vanes in the rotors and try to turn it.

If its not the brakes, maybe the transfer case. Did you put the transfer case in neutral? if not try that.

Amen to both above, road or marine salt can freeze up brakes if left on the surfaces, hammer usually works for me (boaters who insisit on getting rear wheels into the brine at the ramp).

To rule out the t/case, put it in neutral and see if it will move, other wise it is your front brakes.

I knew it wasn't the transfer case, but had put it into neutral last night anyway. Only issue is I can't get it back in now... not like it is going to roll away though lol. Did some wheel chocks in case though as the parking brake is useless in in neutral!
I'm going to pop the wheels and bang away... the driveway is still wet today so my surface friction sucks.

Position the MDX so that when Disco rolls away the MDX will be struck, perhaps they will "total" both vehicles...

If you remember those two vehicles already tangled (and the MDX won). It was the beginning of the end for the red Disco! Wifey backed into it (yeah, let's not look at the rear review camera or anything) and took out the door of the Disco!

SWMBO will look in the mirror to be sure war paint is on straight, and mine used a Honda CRX to attempt to back over a low boy costruction trailer. How she did not see a 20 foot trailer across the driveway when walking up to get in car, I dunno.

Of course, we men never hit anything, and when we do, we get out and leave a note under the wiper "I hit your truck. Everybody is watching me write this note. Even took out my wallet and looked like I was copying down numbers. Have a nice day."

One wheel unlocked, one to go. What a PITA. To not ruin good tires, I switched on the spare (plus I had to beat the rust out). In the process, realized I have a different wheel as a spare on that one. Looks like the Rangie wheel that looks like the hurricane but without the hollow center of the spokes. I wonder if anyone needs a brand new wheel like that.
