Default drivers side passenger door lock is frozen...

The locks were working fine up until today, I locked the car with the fob and this door didn't respond, I jiggled it a little, then it started responding.. I go outside just now and it's locked, but the fob won't unlock it... So I decide to unlock it by hand... and the lock is jammed down in the lock position, I can't seem to pull it up.. what do you guys think?

Well I took all the trim off the door, it was the power lock actuator, it was seized in the down position. I unlatched it and removed it.. Where is a good source to get new ones?

You could try Rover Connection, DAP or Atlantic British. If they don't have them call the dealer.

I called the dealer, I couldn't tell if they were joking or just thought I was an uber yuppie that doesn't know any better, but they wanted 250... I'm pretty sure I could rebuild this thing for less than 5 dollars... I might take it all apart and see what makes it tick, I could possibly build something better.

Brad S1- Did you replace it?? Both of my locks in the back don't work. Has anyone ever done it yourself?
