I was replacing my passenger's side front door lock actuator and everything went well until I dropped the middle of the 3 bolts that holds the windown frame to the door into the door shell. As far as I can tell there is no access to this hidden area. Does anyone happen to know the size of that hex bolt? I'd hate to have go to the dealer for this one. Thanks!

magnet on a stick? Shop vac hose? Bolt assortment kit? Bottom of the tool box (all those left over from previous work)? Isn't the hole covered by plastic that you access for window regulator large enough to reach thu?

 

I have tried magnet on a stick and played around the opening for a good while. I am convinced I can't retrieve the bolt easily. And ... I do strive NOT to have left over bolts after projects! =P

 

Maybe take a test drive over bumpy roads and it might move to a better spot.
