I'm looking for some guidance - my mechanic has spotted a leak in the fuel filler breather pipe on my Discovery 2 - he's suggested rather than replacing the entire pipe (as he reckons this could turn into a big job) we cut out the leaking part and replace with metal pipe /tubing - anyone have any suggestions as to where to get my hands on the necessary piping and what the dimensions might be??

 

Home Depot (plumbing department). Your mechanic undoubtedly has a pair of calipers and can measure it.
