Default Fuel filter

My question is simple and easy. Does a 99 Disco2 have a fuel filter or something that strains the fuel on the fuel line before it reaches the engine and if so can it be cleaned or replaced during a tune up?

No Mike, I have an EVAP leak problem with code p0455 and I have already dropped my fuel tank in search for maybe worn hoses, a physical break in the line or something. If I had a fuel filter I was going to replace it. Some where there is a vapor leak so I plan to replace all the rubber hoses that I can because I've already come across a weak vent hose that runs from the tank to the liquid vapor separator that broke in two with a just a little pull. So I hoping something comes up.

KEY QUESTION: I notices that my purge valve makes a loud ticking noise. I've always noticed that years ago so do you know if that is a common problem with these truck or what? If so do you thing cleaning or replacing would help? Also I found my EVAP Canister and want to know if there is a way to test or clean that also. Thanks for viewing these answers will be a big help.

In the future, ask us before you waste your time dropping a gas tank, that for the most part has nothing to do with a 455 evap code, which is a major leak issue.
If you want some help with this, lets talk and I'll walk you thru what to check.
