Key Tip Broke Off In Ignition - Disco 03

I have a brand new transponder key, but will a locksmith be able to remove the old key tip or do I have to have it towed to a LR repair shop?

is it just barely in there or way in the back? i would think a locksmith would be up to the task. they will let you know on the phone.

If it's just the blade that came off from your fob it should be easy to remove with a small pair of pliers. I don't see how par of the blade could just break off inside the ignition. Good luck.
