Default Fuel Filter & throttle Postion Sensor?

Where is the fuel filter located and what does a "throttle" position sensor do?

On a DI the fuel filter is behind the passenger rear wheel, on a DII it is inside the fuel tank and is non serviceable.
The TPS lets the ECU know how much gas you are giving the engine. In other words how hard you are pushing the throttle.
