Correct. I researched using some 24# GM injectors and switching to a larger BMW MAF housing to increase your headroom if you were increasing your airflow considerably, but frankly it's just not worth the effort with these motors. You'd have to do a major port job on the heads and intake, and install bigger valves along with a larger throttle body and cam to require the upgrade.

 

I could have sworn also that someone on here (?) had used 19# Ford Mustang injectors on their Bosch/Thor engine.
I tried a search but can't find who it was.

Are the stock injectors on the Thor engine a single orifice or quad? Kind of late but going by that Stan Weiss page I guess I purchased the correct replacement Bosch injectors since they are tannish yellow with quad orifice #0 280 155 787.
The specs on my -787 are a bit different than the -746 and F6VE injectors...

 

Stock injectors are quad orifice if I remember correctly.
