...fuel doesn't travel through the spark plug. There is no way that's possible unless a cylinder is full of fuel (unlikely unless there's an injector stuck open) and the spark plug is loose enough to allow fuel through (more unlikely)

Sounds like the seller doesn't know what he's talking about. Id take that to mean he also doesn't know what he's doing in regards to maintenance. Just my 2¢

If by some reason is gasoline, everything will catch fire soon.

It's possible that the seller is confusing the injectors with the spark plugs, in which case it's probably just an o-ring that needs replacing. But that's just a guess.

Don't buy a Discovery up to year 2004.
You will be sorry.
Get a 2003 Range Rover. Better engine.
Get a 2005 or newer Discovery.
You can afford it.

Pay more now for 2005 or newer discovery.

Or cheap out and get a 2004 or older Discovery.
You will be very very sorry.

You will pay a lot more later in Headgaskets and towing charges too.

I highly disagree. In four plus years of ownership I've head to do head gaskets once (shortly after buying) and I have never been stranded in it. I'm the furthest thing from sorry I bought it and I wouldn't replace it with anything else. And that's me saying that using it as my daily driver.

Don't get me wrong, its a labor of love and I have to stay on top of maintenance, but I think it's every bit as reliable as the 08 Silverado I had as long as its properly maintained.
