Anyone know why the 40 amp fuse that controls the fan keeps blowing? The engine gets really hot and Im worried.

 

Your fan motor is "toast", and needs replacement. You should understand that in slow traffic or parked this fan is needed to keep temps down, so it can lead to major problems if not dealt with. You can replace entire assembly, from new or salvage, and there have been recent write ups on replacing just the motor, with a little drilling. You can also buy a universal fan at parts store and install. There is no adjustable thermostat, the engine ECU and HVAC ECU montor things and decide when to turn on the fan relay.

 

Thanks Savannah I can get a used one from Wilson at Shiyco Rovers Im sure. Hes a good guy.I just did the head gaskets a few months back so I do not want to do that again. I have an ultra gauge and I have been worried to say the least.
