Default Fuse Question

Which fuse do I have to pull so the SLS doesn't drain my battery now that I replace it with springs/shocks. I have no lights on the dash but my car wouldn't start this morning because of a dead battery. I've seen it mentioned that is a 30 amp fuse but which one is it.

Better yet pull the fuse and relay in the engine compartment, you will still need to have a good shop with the right computer turn of the SLS or the warning lights will stay on the dash.

But what fuse and relay is it Mike?
I dont know and neither does he.
Under the hood? Under the dash? Do you know the fuse number?
Has the OP checked the owners manual or the repair manual?

The SLS compressor and the three valves associated with it use a common ground, C0811. If you remove the compressor fuse, the valves still get their + battery via the SLABS, so they continue to switch on during the not running period, in a futile attempt to keep the carriage level for the entry of Her Royal Highness when she returns from the affairs of state. IMHO a more elegant solution is to remove and tape up C0811, as shown in the attached pages. Wiring and pix from RAVE attached. C0811 is bottom right of drawing, and easy to get to under hood. Other wire on that stud is the earth lead for the fuel pump (C0810), so if truck does not crank, you selected the wrong one.

As for warning lights and such I believe DM is correct that next trip to shop with required computer that can be un-programmed.

Wish I read this earlier. Went to a local rover shop and had them turn off the SLS system and of course it had a shuttle valve code when they checked.
