I ordered about 5 of these off of Ebay. It’s an exact FV308 match just a Honda part direct from a Japanese manufacturer.

My OEM plastic PCV is so enshrined with the valve cover, I might as well wait until I have to replace the cover gaskets, because I simply do not want plastic bits bouncing inside the valve cover.

I drilled a small hole and put a drywall screw in a couple of turns to have something to grab a hold of.
It broke again.
All the while I was spraying PB Blaster in it.
I started spraying brake parts cleaner in as well thinking "its oil in there, this might work better"
After probably a good hour of doing all of this, it finally moved DOWN like 1/8".
So at this point I could move it up and down maybe a 1/4" total so I kept doing that as gently as possible spraying brake cleaner in as well.
All of a sudden it pulled out about an inch then finally all of the way........ I was using large needle nose pliers, grabbing the small nipple that was still in place.
What a terrible mental experience this was because all I was thinking is "I dont want to pull the valve cover....I cant pull the valve cover, I have to drive this thing tomorrow..." LOL
Once out, it took like 5 mins to finish up

There is actually a flat metal plate that screws into the valve cover the internally. Yes tiny pieces “could” possibly fall into the engine, but honestly if you took a shop vac and quickly sucked at the plastic baffle opening you’d most likely get the pieces out.
Haven’t had that happen yet, as removal hasn’t been that bad for me so far

FRAM FV308 Is unavailable in most places currently...
I ordered this one... Has anyone used this yet to confirm it is exact?

I just finished up. Man , let me tell you -- Those valve cover screws were way loose. Did the PCV mod with the Japanese part. Luckily the baffle came out in one piece. Then loctite blue on the screws. I wasn't sure how tight to make the new metal PCV part... I just turned about half way tight after hand tightening with a wrench. Don't want to over tighten.
