I been trying to find the fv308 but no luck. Rock auto will email me when they come in. None on ebay, amazon or even local auto parts. No one seems to have them in stock. Does any one have a link to some available?

You can always try these part numbers... #V288, FRAM #FV308, NAPA #CRB29380, Sankei #KP111, Purolator #PV1027, or Beck Arnley #045-0264.

Installed mine yesterday afternoon. Very simple only thing I didn’t do was drill out the nipple. Just removed the spiral inside and cleaned the nipple. Here’s some pics

Does anyone know where I could get a replacement metal sleeve for the piece that goes into the rocker cover? I handed it over to my buddy to drill out to 3/8 and he ended up crimping the entire sleeve in the vice and it seems too far gone.

Local salvage yard would be your best bet. I’m sure the dealer sells it to. $$

i could probably pull the one from my parts truck. it's a '99 so the top of it is open, rather than the closed type of later years.

That would be awesome man, let me know what you need from me. Looking to get it asap so I can get my truck going. Called the stealer for the part, they only sell the valve cover and they want almost 500 for a new one.
