I bought an 03 Disco II back in November with only 27k miles on it and i have been having problems already,i knew i was getting myself into trouble, but i love the ride. The latest issue is that my gas door will no longer latch, it wont stay locked, so it just hangs open. It wouldnt closelast night, so i tried to force it, big mistake. Can you just buy a new plastic latch, has this happend to anyone else ?

My second issue is a chirp that comes from over by glove box by the passengers knees. No idea what that is, anyone know ?

 

Go to the dealer for the gas door latch and stop trying to force things.
As fot the chirp, is it coming from the inside of the passanger compartment like a blower motor chirp, or is it coming from under the truck?
