I'm waiting to see what my mileage is after this fill up - as an experiment I used equal amounts of whats commonly available here 87, 89, and 91 octane. If my calculations are correct that will give me 267 octane and my lil machine should run with the best of them. Heck I noticed when I first pulled away from the pump it appeared to have a lil more thrust or maybe its all in my head [sm=smiley23.gif] or maybe I should have just paid for the gas to begin with!

Default RE: Gas Mileage

So I did a little math on my rovers fuel economy recently to calculate my average fuel costs with (my fiance) Sherry's new store, and the fuel costs are now $20 a week. calculated by a total of 24 miles a day (she doesnt drive so that is the 2, 12 mile round trips I have to make each day), 5 days a week(this is all city driving at very close to 12 MPG). I have decided to change my driving habits and try to improve fuel economy as much as possible. I really hate weeks she works 6 days or if I go anywhere else like to visit my brother then I go through $40 in a week, I remember doing that delivering pizzas in an escort when I was a kid (but gas prices were a buck a gallon back then).
