Damn... I accidentally revived the hell out of this thread

Anyways, to jump on the bandwagon, i get 17 average per tank... I drive to college and work. Got 18.6 once from Las Vegas to St. George all freeway varying from 65-90 mph. Although 17 mpg is still god awful in todays standards.

and the preacher said to the congregation "..... all who agree with this 10 year old thread, can I get an AMEN?"

Love the VW TDI Vapor Fuel System.....good one. However, I was hoping to revive my wide leather pant belt with the peace sign, striped flair pants, gold chains around my neck and polyester shirt. Oh yea, tinted glasses and side burns when I got my Ford Galaxy. Bummer. I was even going to break out my fuzzy dice and hang them on my rear view mirror.

peace out, groovy and bitchn' dude!

Yeah, I'm gonna install one of those $10 hydrogen gas from water gadgets and get my fuel for nothing 'cos everyone's got one they say. And it does a million miles on a gallon of tap water and runs perfectly clean so your oil lasts forever.....................and when I wake up it's still needing tanking up at the pumps like everyone else's. I think Ogle was also another myth that's become embedded.........................like flying saucers from Mars..............

I drive my 99 80 miles a day. 1 day work pays for the other 4 days transportation.
Don't care I ain't driving no smaaat caa I'd rather walk.
That was my pitiful attempt at a Boston accent. When I drove up in New England. every time I got on a different highway I had to pay out the A_ _ in tolls. And every time there was a miniature vehicle in front of me, scrambling to find some money. That's why I like it here in the mid south we are too poor to pay tolls every time we go somewhere. So I have more money to fuel the beast. 17 MPG on the 99 mostly highway. No state tax on retirement . No tax on my assets after I'm dead. Northern states are always in somebody's pocket it seems.
Now that is how one properly hijacks a thread.

What? No such thing as flying saucers? So the whole Roswell N.M. thing was just a farce? Next I suppose your gonna tell me we didn't land on the moon, right? Holy frijole batman, no Santa Claus either?

This is actually false. There have been many on here that have tested it and improved their MPG's. I even started a thread asking about this a while ago. My wife brought up the question in her '04, as she was getting better mileage. Here's my thread...
