gas mileage report
yeah. My rover is a complete gas ***** too. She can't go by a gas station without stopping to flirt with the pumps. Doesn't matter if the pump is big or small, black or white, modern or old school - she can't help herself from going straight up to it, opening up and begging for some juice. She's never seen a pump she didn't try to drain...
It was hard to keep it below 70 on the way up there..we all could not wait to start snowboarding..on the way back slowed down a bit but we had to keep a steady pace to beat Atlanta traffic.

thats how i feel about late season snowmobiling, i think im going to buy a Saab for it on the weekends.
30 mpg, 250 hp, euro quirks, tad more reliable then the rover!, ive always liked Saabs....

My first car was a 1988 Saab 900 Turbo hatchback. That was one of my favorites. I ran the **** out of that thing, and then it died. My parents were tired of seeing it sitting in the yard so I sold it. For $50. I was such an idiot.
WOW!!My wife would shoot me for buying the dd if I was only getting 12mpg. She doesn't even like my average 16 in town. Yeah I am a smooth driver and try my best to keep the torq locked up.

The wife takes the Disco to work 10 miles each way, city driving, I seafoamed her (the Disco) and nothing was noticeable, since we have had er we have always used at least 93 octane however by chance we started using Chevron Supreme 93 and noticed a difference by the time we got home. I then ran some Chevron gas line/injector cleaner through er and what a difference. The 20 mile round trip city driving nets us right at 14.5 mpg. we've not been on any long trips - once that happens we see.
Cheers
Robert
You went to public school didnt you? LOL
Lol..
I dont question my math.. I am very curious about this, havnt been able to schedule a week to go without the truck to get the recall replacement gas tank, I have been leaving the gas cap loose to prevent the vacum to see if it has anything to do with the milage, but it seems to be unrelated...
Odd is the only way I can describe it...
One thing I do suspect, is that I allways get my gas from the same station, and mostly the same pump at that station, possibly the calibration of the pump is off??
I will start looking for another station and repeat the experiment
