Default Gas pump clicks off at gas stations.

So have read about putting injector cleaner into the vent lines near the gas filler neck. Are the two vents the smaller holes top and bottom of the filler neck?

Usually it is not your truck, it is the pump, unless it happens on all of them.

I've been having this same problem, admittedly intermittently, but I'm also getting a recurring P0455 and wondering if it's related to issues with the vent system. As a non-SAI it has the simpler vacuum EVAP test and I've swapped out both the purge valve and the vent solenoid (and of course the gas cap) but the problem persists. I've disconnected the canister connections and refitted them, and don't see any other problems with the visible connections so I think the filler neck itself is the next step. Thanks for the link Harvlr, that's great info. .

Looks like the injector cleaner worked, pored down the two smaller holes that are top and bottom of the filler neck. Went back to the same gas station and was able to fill up.

Easier fix than mine was. Good news.
