Well that's interesting. I just got back from Lowe's, and the key guy told me he can't cut my Disco key. I suppose I'll try another Lowe's. I thought that sounded plain wrong.

Lowe's does not carry a proper blank for Land Rovers (ask me how I know). There is however a blank that is intended for Hyundai or some other import that will almost work perfectly, it just requires some slight modification with a file or a bench grinder after it's cut.

 

Ah, cool. That would make sense. Except that I brought my own blank.
