At first the light on the dash came right on no problem when i tested it a few times. But now sometimes when i engage it the light doesn't want to go off when i unengage it. And its flickered a couple times so im assuming thats just the switch acting up?
It's a good possibility I just replaced mine. Couple weeks back. The way the switch is designed it would be easy for it to get stuck in the "engaged" position. Also sometimes it just takes a couple yards to disengage.

Update. So driving more after the install the light was flickering on and off constantly as I hit bumps. Well I got underneath and had a friend engage and undo it a few times and came to realize its moving just enough to lock and unlock it but the light switch seams like its borderline when u in engage it. So I moved the lever over the rest of the way from underneath drove home and no more light. I need just a little more tension on the cable to move it all the way back. Is there a way to do this?
