Well you have never had it put together enough to bleed it properly... Slow down and do things one at a time then see where you are at. I've had temps reach 215 with a good stat when it was not fully bled. So employ some patience here and give it a try. It may take a few days of topping through the bleed screw to attain perfection.

Took me 3 days to fully bleed my system. There still might be air in it, but I'm happy with my temps. Bleed, bleed, bleed.

Exactly!!!!
No fiddling around for hours/days parking uphill with the moon in the waning gibbous phase at midnight trying to get the air out of the cooling system.
I got mine done in 15 minutes with my air lift kit.

Funny what havoc an air bubble can wreak.

If your heat isnt HOT it needs to be bled....ON A HILL

Probably done about 3 cycles now of starting the truck up, letting it get up to 195 and then turning it off and letting it sit. Add a tiny bit of coolant via the bleed screw when things are stone cold -- still overheats.

One of those air lift dealios would be awesome but.. not something i can use / buy at the moment.

Yep, for me the temp sensor from L8 was bogus. Bought one from AB and everything was dandy

you're talking about the temp sensor on the manifold outlet?
