You are in luck, no you do not need to remove the actual steering wheel, just remove the steering column cover, you will see the switch is held on with 2 screws.
You will need to turn the steering wheel 90* to get to the bottom screw.
Once unscrewed unplug it.
Simple.
The wiper switch is the exact same way to replace.
