I'm still searching for the right extended warranty. The best I have found contractually (don't know prices) seems to be from Great Lakes Warrany.

For all you people out there that also have Great Lakes, which package did ya'll go with?
Powertrain Advantage Protection Plan
Superior Advantage Protection Plan
Silver Advantage Protection Plan, or
Titanium Advantage Protection Plan.

Two considerations to look at , what can you afford and will your dealer, shop or mechanic honor this warranty?

I have a great lakes warranty their best policy. the biggest problemI found is, they only pay out $60.00 per hour. which is tuff to find a mechanic,LR dealer will laugh in your face, so your stuck paying the difference. also They decide what gets changed or repaired on your truck. my truck sat for a week at a place in AZ because they kept going back and forth. the codes were saying change the MAF and front 02 sensors. the guy at great lakes said change the upper manifold gasket. and wouldn't honor any repairs until this was changed first. needless to say they never gavethe go ahead to make the repair. countless phone calls to new york by myself and the repair shop. I finally went back and got my truck minus any repairs and$140 bucks for checking out the truck. the guy at Great Lakes (Jack) was right sort of. I changed the gasket and the maf senor myself. way too much run around. Oh just take it to any repair shop. well..thats what they say.Mike emailed me once and told me your pretty much at their mercy.Oh.. for the record it cost me $2500 big ones for the policy.never collected on it yet.
