Default Green wires unplugged under dash at BCU.

So my truck has been fubar since I disconnected the battery.
I am attaching a picture, it is under the passanger dash of my 99 DII.
I was looking for water damage because the BCU ICM seem to not sync.
And I found this, hope you can see it. There are 2 green wires, they are paired together in one outher jacket with no other wires. And they have obviously been pulled from connectors that attach to the BCU.

Any thoughts as to why they would disconnect them? I believe the tranny has been replaced, perhaps the block or motor.

Just want to ask before I stick them back in the connectors, I assume they have an even chance of fixing my issue or complicating it.

Odd. Mine are disconnected too. I noticed the other day. I also notice two other wires that are crimped together. The PO only the truck serviced at the LR dealer. Not sure what's up.

Ok, thanks for the input.
Only thing my truck did not have was heated seats so maybe to do with that.

heated seats use light green with white stripe, and don't go thru BCU. Do these have a stripe? Here is BCU wiring, did not see two that were green only.

Those Look to be old ABS sensor wires - an overlay harness was probably installed at some point.

This makes sense. I'll grab a pic later this week of the cut wires, and the crimped wires and see where they are connected to.

So do you think it is just a rover thing?
As in someone did not get under there and fiddle?

I guess I should start looking for a parts truck for under $1k.
