Oh before I forget, which size bolts are commonly used on these things? SAE, metric, torx, etc.?

All of the above. It's a good thing my wife likes buying me tools 'cuz my DII has made picking B-Day/Father's Day/Xmas presents REALLY easy for her. LOL!

I got my disco 2 weeks ago friday and I am absolutely in love with it. I owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I was not impressed with it stock, not like I am with my disco. Yeah they have problems, head gaskets and what not. The three amigos gripe is an easy fix. Rebuilding the front driveshaft on DII's isn't that terribly hard. Do the 60k service. and be done with it.

Yeah thats a little over priced for an 04 S model.
I would try to knock off at least 2K from that price.
Make sure to have a mechanic look over it before you buy, unless you're very comfortable with looking over one of these.

one thing that i hate about LR is if something brakes you just cant to to the part store and get it (nothings in stock) or dealer only. as for jeep. lets say they have 2 of every thing in stock.
i have both jeeps and LR
