Grinding sound from ABS? when first drive..
ok I have an odd sound... it sounds like a grinding ( ABS modulator location) for just a few seconds when I first back out of drive and turn wheels tot he right and proceed forward... if wheels are turned too sharp its really loud and felt even up front at brakes... ( left it seems) and i trigger the rough road code ( ill add later..forgot it lol) but if Im really careful i barely hear it for a second and it goes away... no other time when turning or driving do i hear it.. its only at startup and drive off... recently just replaced all ball joints and brake pads and rotors but this hasn't happened until I took it in for alignment... also if this has anything to do with it and maybe a different post for others if their is an answer but when I turn the steering all the way any way.. i have a decent amount of slop in steering once wheels are turned... i remember back on some power steering pumps you had a screw you could take up some slop.. not sure about these yet, I haven't messed around there on the disco.. also steering seems soft not firm and tight...

Some after market sensors are the wrong length, too long or it's maybe the wheel bearing. After market reluctor rings are also suspect, sometimes the wrong diameter and also the wrong amount of indents/teeth..
well i havent replaced any sensors or bearings howver I do suspect a rear bearing and thats a different issue lol but this just started imediatly after wheel alignment and a week before I changrd to ball joints and this sounds like it is coming from the ABS modulator not at wheel... unless turned too sharp then sounds like that wheel is grinding and trying to stop me...
