Ah, you're making me feel bad for not doing it myself. But, in my defence — winter!
I should also point out that my numbers are in Canadian $.

Interesting thread, I guess that by the grooming ours its also on the way.
So far I'm looking at the hoses replacement. Is there aftermarket options?
Also quick question regarding the reference about "bleeding the pump", whats the procedure involved?
Thanks again for the thread

Remember (another hint) there are LR Workshop Manuals you should be viewing to learn about your vehicle and get information about mechanical repair procedures and if that's cornfusing do a search for answers. Still stumped or would like to get a clarification ask. 40+ years ago there were no forums or downloadable factory manuals and you'd get a Motor's Auto Repair Manual to get a clue on how it worked and do the repair.

Where can I get instructions on bleeding the pump? I've seen the video on changing out the pump and hoses, but not how to bleed the pump.

Also, I have a huge and wide roll of vinyl plastic from painting the house and I plan to drive my rover on top of that when it comes time to drain/flush/replace fluids. Whatever the pan misses, I figure I can just roll on top of that vinyl, let fluids pour wherever and after deal with it however need be. Much better than trying to clean concrete.

Get the front wheels off the ground, turn all the way left, all the way right and repeat for a few cycles.

I can't exactly remember what the manual says but the last time I did it with the cap off the reservoir. Make sure the fluid level does not drop too much while you do this.

Internet search...."land rover rave manual download" then you should be able to find site to download LR manuals in PDF format. Do the complete RAVE with size warning, all the D2 manuals included there.

Maybe one day you can be helping to answer the questions.

Default Easy Fan Clutch Removal

Noticed they use the work smarter technique for fan clutch removal. Have read several threads lately where members go to great lengths to work harder.
