Default Guessing it's half shaft time?

Just turned 100k on my 2002 D2, and I'm getting a very strange vibration when accelerating and really bad when I start to slow down. Feels like it's from the passenger side. Feels like rough pavement. Transmission shifts fine so I don't think it is the tran. I can't rule out the wheel bearing but from past experiences it doesn't feel like that the problem. As you can guess I have not had any time to crawl under it and check it. I know that it has been replaced in the past by a previous owner. The half shaft has a Rovers North sticker on it. Has anyone used or heard of one of these? Any recommendations?

I had a pretty bad vibration when the rotoflex went on the rear drive shaft. I would get under there and check all the u-joints and the rotoflex before buying any parts. Good luck, I hope you get it figured out and it doesn't cost too much.

Do you really mean half shaft? You have links to the front drive shaft (called prop shaft by Land Rover.) If you haven't replaced or rebuilt your front drive shaft, I would certainly do that right away.

If you want a replacement front drive shaft, check with Lucky 8 before buying either of those.

Rovers north is a reputable seller of a variety of rover stuff. I have never had one of their shafts but would expect that they likely sell aftermarket replacements.
As for your truck, the first thing I would check is whether all 3 joints have grease zerks (fittings). Should have beengreased every service).
Rebuilding it with new joints and a centring ball kit is an option but the shafts you tagged on e bay are a pretty decent deal.
Probably about $75 bucks in parts plus labour (aprox.1 1/2 hours) if you are not comfortable doing it yourself
