Has anyone used TriboTex in their oil/engine?

Sounds like "Snake oil". For that money get a good fuel injector cleaner, run good quality oil, and change out your O2 sensors if they are old. Then get the adaptive settings cleared and drive normally, that will do more to improve performance, but these are not race cars the engine is tuned for torque.
