Default Have magnaflow exhaust, can I downgrade?

The previous owner installed what looks like a magna flow exhaust. I am building this Disco to be a reliable camping / overloading vehicle and the exhaust is annoying me. On a sports car where you are rowing your own gears and climbing the rev range, sure I get it. But on an automatic that lives between 1500 and 2500 rpm 90% of the time?

Any suggestions for a quieter exhaust? Should I just go back to stock? I assume there is no tuning or anything to do.

Yes, if you do, I think just search for a stock replacement, Bosal maybe? I recommend a y-pipe that comes in two pieces. I ordered a walker Y pipe, and it had to be cut to be installed anyway.

You’ll probably want to do the O2 sensors at the same time, or at least have them handy. They may come out damaged.

Cool, thanks Collie. I actually have 4 new O2 sensors sitting in a box so maybe I should wait to put them in. It is just the rear ones that would be affected when replacing the exhaust, right?

I would think so just because of their location

How many mufflers does your setup have? - maybe you can add a second one if you only have one currently. You could always try and sell it and then get something suited for your needs!
