My gut tells me he might be trying to make a G4 clone...or pass it off as a G4.

 

Hopefully our man rotorooter will see blinking lights and his Disco will roll to a stop and refuse to start. A hipster mechanic will diagnose a blown gasket and recommend a $4000 engine swap, and he'll throw it away on ebay for $1300.

I'll snap it up in another Rover Rescue, put a new crank position sensor and add it to the fleet.

He'll be happier in his new Escalade, a real throw away vehicle.

 

I hate to think of all the "throw away" time, sweat, tears, and $$$ I have put into my throw away vehicle.

The worlds full 'dick le tete's' and some like to bling there wheels with junk they'll never, ever need or use whilst belittling other enthusiasts for there trucks. He's probably a con artist or AH with a 'bouche enorme'. The Pajero forum is full of these 'sweeties' and 'poseurs'

exactement.................... London, Paris etc are full of 'Chelsea tractors' and '4x4 LR shopping trolleys', I believe you call them soccer moms. The majority have never seen offroad tracks except parking on the neatly trimmed lawn

 

What bugs me is that he called them a throw away vehicle. These are not just cars to us, they matter to us. People have put good money on these cars, I know I have. I have only owned a Land Rover for 2 years now as my first ever car, And I plan on keeping mine for many years to come.

 

I put over 20k into my first D1 which I have owned for over 12 years! Of course that money was spent when I decided I didn't know how to work on it and stuck to turning wrenches on my Alfa Romeos.

I'll never throw that one away!

In all honesty, SDHow you lit into him for no real reason. He just asked a question and you attacked him for being in the valley. And since that wasn't enough you started this thread. So the way I see it you were being a cyber bully.

What I have always liked about this forum is that attacks were few and far between unlike some of the other Rover forums.

Rover life is full of enough drama why add more to it?

All your posts about him are in speculation not fact. Do i know him, nope. Do I know you, nope. Do I care what you think about me, nope. This site is here to help people and for the sponsors to make a buck. You want to trash talk and pick on people then go to another forum for that. I would like this forum to stay friendly if at all possible.
