You didn't think the guy was getting out of line and needed a smack down when one of our members replied and informed him about how expensive the bumper he was looking for would be and he replied with "^ what a waste of a post" and "^ did I ever ask about any of this?"

 

Not really. SDHOW posted this before what you are saying.

"You realize when you find these used...in decent shape...they're still expensive. They were like over $1k new; no lights or add ons. Oh, wait! You're in the Silicon Valley...never mind."

Was what i have in bold called for? I don't think so. If that part was not posted then the follow up would not have resulted in the "wasted post" comment. Agree each made it personal after that point.
